COVID-19 – otherwise known as Coronavirus disease – has been dominating the headlines recently. While it is spreading quickly across parts of Sacramento and beyond, our staff is taking extra-extra-extra measures to protect the health and safety of our customers and ourselves.
Our process starts with contact-less interaction with our customers. Social distancing is a set of nonpharmaceutical infection control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of COVID-19. Our technicians are now completing many iPhone repairs without having to enter the customer’s home. Most common places are the driveway the garage or the technicians vehicle.
Regular and thorough cleaning routines have been implemented into our repair process to help reduce infection control issues, and minimize the risk of contamination. To help address the possibility of mobile phone surface contamination, we use disinfecting wipes to sanitize devices before the repair process even starts. After the repair we use disinfecting wipes to disinfect again followed by electronic wipes to finalize the cleanliness and look of your device before returning it to you.
As the pandemic continues to evolve, new techniques will be added, and existing ones will be updated to best reflect the changing context. We’re optimistic, We’re all in this together. We ask everyone to support your local businesses because they are getting hurt by this. We’ll all get through this.
We’ve implemented two (2) options for service delivered to our customers.
Place of residence:
Customers can now opt-in to “Meet the technician at the door” or “Leave their device at their front door” when they see the technician has arrived.
There is no need for the technician to enter the premises. The service tech will complete the repair outside of your home in plain view. Once the service has been completed, payment can be processed electronically and the device returned to the front door for retrieval.
Medical Centers & Hospitals:
The technician may enter the premises to meet with you at a pre-determined location within the medical facility. Our staff will wear medical-grade gloves and masks while inside of the medical facility. The technician will collect your device and will complete the repair outside of the premises while remaining onsite. Once completed the technician will return to the meeting location to return your device.
As a local organization with employees throughout the city, we will use our abilities and tools extensively to help during this time of crisis. We felt it was our responsibility to offer this option to the healthcare providers who are working throughout Sacramento to bring an end to this crisis.
